Here you can go skiing on groomed trails that stretch in sheltered meanders up the hillside or steeply up onto Snaufjellet itself. If you are surprised by a storm, it is never far to get down into the forest which provides protection from the wind. The area is perfec for families without much experience with a ski holiday in the mountains. Here, the youngest can practice on the flat water while father himself races over long steep peaks with a spectacular view. Up on the mountain, there are also many sheltered places where the whole family can camp.

Most of the peaks are at around 1,200 meters above sea level and have easy ascents with silky smooth descents. Here you will find south-facing and sheltered places where you can sit down in complete silence, while the children play on the slopes all around. Very little risk of landslides and safe surroundings with a short way down the hill, back to people and roads.
